Los usuarios desbloqueados del Galaxy Note 4 Hungría ven la actualización a Android Marshmallow

We’ve released some screenshots of Samsung’s plans for its Galaxy devices for Android Marshmallow, but we’re now seeing an official release of Marshmallow for the Galaxy Note 4. Specifically, the update is being released in Hungary for Galaxy Note 4 users who have unlocked (non-carrier) devices bearing the model number SM-N910F.

The new Android Marshmallow (6.0) update for the Galaxy Note 4 in Hungary brings not only the Doze battery mode, Google Now On Tap, detailed battery stats, as well as customizable app permissions, but also some special software features from Samsung such as Off Screen Memo that lets you write on your display when it’s black and the new Air Command Menu that replaces the menu wheel with a screen that brings the options while blurring the background. The Android 6.0 update has been confirmed with a snapshot from NapiDroid.

The Galaxy Note 4 is not the first handset to receive Android Marshmallow in Hungary, seeing that the LG G4 handsets there already have Marshmallow. At the same time, however, it’s surprising to see Samsung bring Android Marshmallow to the Galaxy Note 4 this quickly, seeing that it’s only been 2 months since Google released the update for the LG Nexus 5, Motorola Nexus 6, Nexus 7, and Nexus Player. This is indeed an improvement for the Korean giant, and we’re happy to see Samsung pushing out the update. At this point, it’s interesting that we’ve not yet seen the Note 5 updated to Android Marshmallow, but we do know that Samsung has a habit of bringing the updates to older devices at times so as to keep longer-term customers happy and satisfied.

As for when carrier-locked models can expect it, we do not know. If you want to see if your device is Android Marshmallow-eligible, go aquí.
