“Apple Watch” smartwatch finally arrives for $349
Apple’s smartwatch is finally here and is called the Apple Watch smartwatch. This is the first wearable product from Apple. Apple Watch features a sapphire crystal display and pulse tracking sensors and a lot of other stuff.
Apple CEO Tim Cook described the Apple Watch as comprehensive device that offers health and fitness features, can act as a walkie-talkie, can turn into a remote control for Apple TV and can also become a wrist watch.
Apple Watch comes in three different design categories – the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition. The first one features a stainless steel case with a range of stylish strips to choose from. The second one is more like a hipster style watch with Anodized aluminum cases in silver and space gray color along with colorful bands. And the third one is the premium version of the Apple Watch, featuring 18-karat gold case with elegantly crafted bands.
Apple Watch smartwatch comes in two different sizes two suit everyone. There’s 38mm and 42mm case sizes for Apple Watch. Currently, Apple Watch can only be paired with an iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus.
Comparing Apple Watch with other smartwatches, the Apple one may look like a bit expensive with not much to offer in terms of design. Motorola’s Moto 360 and ASUS zenwatch have already gotten much praise for the design of the smartwatch. But, the one thing that separates Apple from the other smartwatches is the number of features that Apple is offering in Apple Watch. Users can use their Apple Watch for Apple Pay mobile payment system.
Another cool feature of the Apple Watch is that it quickly senses if the person is raising his wrist and turns on the watch display automatically. The button like crown on the right side of the watch allows the users to zoom in and out in various apps or scroll down through options.
Apple Watch smartwatch will go on sale at the beginning of next year, starting at $349.
