Lenovo’s new Yoga tablets and PCs inspired by Ashton Kutcher coming soon
No one would have expected actor and venture capitalist Ashton Kutcher to possess an impressively high intellect that products inspired by him would start to roll and that too released by the biggest PC manufacturer in the world, Lenovo. That being said, Lenovo, with the help of Ashton Kutcher plans on releasing another lineup of products that will fall under the tablet and hybrid category during the end-of-year holiday season. Ashton Kutcher was personally responsible for the design and development of these products.
Lenovo’s CEO, Yang Yuanqing, stated during a call on Monday that the company’s new product lineup will possess stylish aesthetics as well as improved performance over its predecessors in order to provide an improved experience to tablet and hybrid users.To effectively market their products, Lenovo will be holding an event in London that is scheduled to take place on the 9th of October. Kutcher will be present there, as his current designation with the company is product engineer.
While the details of the products were not revealed, there were several hints leading that the Yoga 3 Pro will be the Yoga 2 Pro laptop-tablet hybrid’s successor, and will possess a 13.3 inch screen that will be attached to the base of device.This is different compared to the previous hybrids as majority of hybrids’ screens can be detached from the keyboard.
Currently, the company is offering its Yoga tablets and hybrids that are present in the screen sizes of 8 and 13.3 inches. The 8 and 10 inch Yoga tablets are running the Android OS, while the 11.6 and 13.3 inch hybrids are running the Windows OS. The new tablets will be running upgraded chips based on Intel’s Broadwell architecture, which will grant improved performance over the previous generation.
