Verizon vendra le HTC 10 en premier aux États-Unis

Verizon is one of the most beloved carriers here in the US (depending on whom you ask), but there’s a simple reason why: Big Red’s coverage. Yes, other carriers may hate it, and T-Mobile CEO John Legere may be out to slaughter the carrier, but Verizon is reliable. Grab any phone with that famous “check” and “4G LTE” written on the back, head out across the United States, and you’ll understand quickly why Verizon is so loved by its customers. Verizon customers, sure, could always have more money in their pockets — but above all, they’re genuinely happy. You won’t hear anyone dispute Verizon’s reliable coverage (unless they live in NYC and experience T-Mobile’s blazing fast LTE speeds).

Verizon has been known for all sorts of achievements and customer satisfaction, but the carrier will now get to add yet another achievement to the list: it will be the first in the US to sell the all new HTC 10. The HTC 10 features an all metal unibody (a genuine unibody; take notes, LG!), a 5.2-inch, Quad HD display with a 2,560 x 1,440p screen resolution, a quad-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB of storage, a front-facing 5MP Samsung front camera, a Sony IMX377 12MP back camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. The HTC 10 will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. HTC has partnered with Google to remove duplicate apps such as its photo gallery (now, you’ll only access Google Photos for your pics instead of an HTC gallery app), removing one thing that would keep diehard Google fans away.

HTC says it’s worked day and night to provide a best-in-class camera, and only time will tell if that’s true — though we’ve heard the camera is out of sight. Verizon will start selling the HTC 10 (pre-order only) on April 29th for around $700, or $25-$26 per month by way of a monthly install plan. If you want a two-year agreement, you could end up paying $99.99 with a two-year agreement. Don’t take these numbers as set-in-stone just yet, though.
