Order Verizon Galaxy S7 and get $150 gift card

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are the two best smartphones of the year in terms of their mass appeal, so it only makes sense for retailers like Best Buy to encourage users to spend money by bringing some good deals to market. The retailer’s latest involves buying a Verizon Galaxy S7 or S7 edge on an installment plan and getting a $150 gift card in return.

The Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, as is the case with all variants of these two smartphones worldwide, have specs and features that mark the upper echelon of the smartphone world: 5.1-inch (S7) and 5.5-inch (S7 edge), Quad HD Super AMOLED displays with a 2,560 x 1,440p screen resolutions, the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 5MP front and 12MP back cameras with Dual Pixel phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and f/1.7 apertures for both front and back cameras, IP67 water and dust resistance, CPU cooling system, a microSD card slot with up to 200GB of expandable storage, as well as 3,000mAh (S7) and 3,600mAh (S7 edge) batteries. Both the Verizon Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge come with Android Marshmallow preloaded, though neither sport Samsung’s Grace UX (found in the Galaxy Note 7) just yet.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge also have fast wireless charging, but neither sport the USB-C charging found on the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung also revamped the Power Saving Mode in the Galaxy Note 7, and S7 users won’t see the new battery mode either (unless Samsung brings it to these handsets with Android Nougat).

Verizon has a special place in its smartphone offerings for the Galaxy S7 series, with the Verizon Galaxy S7 series getting the annual upgrade treatment, a Buy One, Get One Free deal, as well as a free Gear S2 promo, and with Blue Coral Galaxy S7 and S7 edges headed to Big Red, it appears as though Verizon has a hit on its hands with Samsung’s latest “S” flagships.
