Huawei launches budget friendly smartphone “Honor Holly”
Huawei just launched its new affordable smartphone named Huawei Honor Holly which is limited to the Indian market only for now and will be available to the Indian market starting 16inci of October with a retail price of $114.
Huawei Honor Holly is equipped with a 5 inch display that supports a resolution of 720P with a pixel density of 294ppi. Other than that the smartphone is also equipped with a MediaTek quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with SD card expansion slot and to power it all a 2000mAh battery. There is an 8MP camera at the back of the smartphone while a 2MP camera at the front. Huawei Honor Holly will be running Android kitkat 4.4.2 and will come with Huawei latest Emotion UI running on top.
Almost every company is trying to capture the Indian market with their affordable smartphones and Huawei is now one of them. Recently Google also launched a couple of Android One smartphones which costs almost the same as the Huawei Honor Holly, yet Huawei offers a better display, camera and SOC in the same price limit. Not a lot of people can afford high end smartphones in India which is why companies like Huawei and many others are coming up with affordable smartphones.
Huawei also announced a new tablet with their Huawei Honor Holly named Huawei Honor X1 tablet which is equipped with a 7 inch display that supports a resolution of 1080P, Balong V9R1 quad core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage with micro SD card slot, 13MP camera on the back while a 5MP at the front and to run it all a 5000mAh battery with Android 4.2 running out of the box.
Both of these devices are only limited to Indian market for now and might move to other countries too in time.
