OnePlus One that was probably one of the most affordable smartphone with the latest specs the market had to offer and it looks like OnePlus will be achieving the same goal next year as well with a successor to their OnePlus One smartphone.
According to the rumors the next OnePlus smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SOC but we would prefer if the company equips with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which would also make the smartphone even more appealing. The smartphone is also rumored to be equipped with a 5.5 inch display and will probably support a QHD resolution as it would be useless to use such a powerful SOC like Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or 810 if there is no QHD screen on the smartphone.
The smartphone is also rumored to come with 32GB of storage space on board and to power it all the smartphone is going to be equipped with a 3300mAh battery. There is going to be a 16MP camera on the back while a 5MP camera at the front. Rumors also say that OnePlus will launch the successor to their One smartphone in the third quarter of 2015.
There is also no assurity on whether the smartphone will be running Cyanogenmod or not because of the recent Cyanogenmod partnership with Indian smartphone manufacture because of which OnePlus One can’t update their smartphone in the Indian market.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 is also said to be facing some production issues that might put it out of the picture for now but no matter what SOC the smartphone will be equipped with, what matters is the price that the smartphone will retail for which is what’s attractive about OnePlus.
