First Microsoft branded Lumia device launched – Microsoft Lumia 535

Microsoft has finally announced their Microsoft branded Lumia smartphone named Microsoft Lumia 535 which will offer the latest version of Windows Phone OS and will be running Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim update. The smartphone will be available in both single and dual SIM versions and is made for those who can’t afford expensive smartphones. The smartphone does not offer high end specs but compared to the old Nokia, Lumia 530 it is a little better.
Microsoft Lumia 535 is equipped with a 5 inch IPS display that supports a resolution of 540 x 960, Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with microSD card expansion slot and to power it all a 1905mAh battery. There is also a 5MP camera on both the front and the back. Microsoft Office, Skype, 15GB of OneDrive storage and Cortana if available is also included in the package.
Microsoft Lumia 535 will be available in 6 colors including white, black, cyan, bright orange, bright green, and dark grey and will cost around $160 without any taxes included. Microsoft has made a phone with good specs in the range of an affordable smartphone with a lot of other benefits as well including the free apps that comes with the phone though the new Microsoft branding on the back looks a little bit weird as we are used to seeing Nokia there.
Microsoft is also said to be working on a high end Lumia smartphone that comes with high end specs that we found on some high end Android smartphones nowadays. Nokia is also said to be working on an Android smartphone of their own though we are not sure if that is going to happen or not at least not before Microsoft has claim over Nokia.
