Les reliques de l'étoile Honkai et leur emplacement
With everything else going on in the game, it can be easy to forget where they are
Relics are the counterpart of the artifacts in Genshin Impact. They have set effects and enhance the character’s stats. Honkai Star Rail account holders benefit much from farming them. Still, like in Genshin, you get them in various Caverns of Corruption (the Domain counterpart) in different locations.
While you can use the Interastral Guide to teleport to the location, you must first discover them. You can do that through the guide, but sometimes you forget which you’ve already unlocked. Also, it’s sometimes difficult to find which one gives the Relic you want to farm, and you don’t want to waste Trailblaze Power.
How to Unlock the Cavern of Corrosion
First, you must level to 24 Trailblaze Level and be doing the In the Sweltering Morning Sun main quest. As you proceed through the Corridor of Fading Echoes area, you’ll find the first Cavern of Corrosion.
The first time you see it, the Trailblazer will pause and send a picture of it to Welt Yang. He’ll explain what it is, and congratulations, you’ve unlocked Caverns of Corrosion.
A tutorial shows you the different caverns and what you can get from them in the Interastral Guide.
The Different Paths of the Caverns of Corrosion
This will list all the caverns, what they drop and the Relics’ effects (2-set first, then 4-set), and where to find them. We’ll also list the characters fit to wear them.
Path of Jabbing Punch
Drops:
- Champion of Streetwise Boxing (Physical DMG +10%, if the wearer attacks or gets hit, ATK increases by 5% for the rest of the battle. Stacks up to 5 times.)
- Thief of Shooting Meteor (Break Effect +16%, has an additional Break Effect +16% and regenerates 3 Energy when the wearer inflicts Weakness Break.)
This cavern is in the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, near a Space Anchor on the east side. It’s easy to teleport to the Anchor to unlock this.
Characters:
- Sushang (Champion)
- Clara (Champion)
- Physical MC (Champion)
- Thief of Shooting Star is a general effect set and can be a placeholder for DPS characters who don’t have their own set yet.
Path of Drifting
Drops:
- Passerby of Wandering Cloud (Outgoing Healing +10%, generate one Skill Point at the beginning of battle)
- Musketeer of Wild Wheat (ATK +12%, increase SPD by 6% and Basic ATK DMG by 10%)
It’s the first cavern you encounter while doing the main quest. It has no nearby Space Anchors, but by being first, it will be unlocked as soon as you discover it. Still, it’s in the Corridor of Fading Echoes, past the rotating gear bridge.
Characters:
- Natasha (Passerby)
- Bailu (Passerby)
- Musketeer of Wild Wheat applies to any DPS character as a placeholder. You get many pieces from all kinds of sources anyway.
Path of Providence
Drops:
- Guard of Wuthering Snow (DMG taken -8%, when their turn starts and the wearer has <50% HP, recover 8% of max HP and 5 Energy.)
- Genius of Brilliant Stars (Quantum DMG +10%, wearer ignores 10% of the enemy’s DEF. If the enemy has Quantum weakness, wearer penetrates an additional 10% DEF (total 20% for Quantum weak enemy.))
You’ll find this Cavern of Corrosion in Everwinter Hill, to the west of the area where you fought the boss. Many enemies roam along the way, so gear up when you try unlocking this.
Characters:
- Seele (Genius)
- Qingque (Genius)
- Tank characters (Gepard, especially Fire MC with their taunt) can use Guard of Wuthering Snow. Still, Knight of Purity Palace will be better if you want to strengthen their shielding capabilities.
- Clara can use Guard of Wuthering Snow, though it depends on how you want to build her.
- Support characters (Bronya, Tingyun, Pela, etc.) can take advantage of the damage reduction and slight healing as they can be easily knocked down.
Path of Holy Hymn
Drops:
- Knight of Purity Palace (DEF +15%, +20% absorbable damage to shields created by the wearer)
- Band of Sizzling Thunder (Lightning DMG +10%, when the wearer uses their Skill, ATK +20% for 1 turn)
The cavern is in Cloudford in Xianzhou Luofu. This makes it inaccessible until you’ve reached the Windswept Wanderlust quest and unlocked the second destination for the Astral Express.
Characters:
- Gepard (Knight)
- Fire MC (Knight)
- March 7th (Knight)
- Serval (Band)
- Arlan (Band)
Path of Gelid Wind
Drops:
- Hunter of Glacial Forest (Ice DMG +10%, after the wearer uses their Ultimate, CRIT DMG +25% for 2 turns.)
- Eagle of Twilight Line (Wind DMG +10%, after the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.)
It’s in Herta Space Station Storage Zone, on a dead end on the east side. Depending on which Anchor you teleported to, you might encounter some enemies along the way.
Characters:
- Yanqing (Hunter)
- Herta (Hunter)
- Dan Heng (Eagle)
- Sampo (Eagle)
Path of Conflagration
Drops
- Firesmith of Lava Forging (Fire DMG +10%, increases Skill DMG by 12%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, Fire DMG +12% for the next attack.)
- Wastelander of Banditry Desert (Imaginary DMG +10%, increases CRIT Rate by 10% if the enemy is debuffed. If the enemy is Imprisoned, CRIT Rate +20%)
You’ll find this path in a long corridor in Stargazer Navalia, an area in the Xianzhou Luofu. You must have sufficiently progressed through the main quest to reach this Cavern of Corrosion.
Characters:
- Himeko (Firesmith)
- Asta (Firesmith)
- Hook (Firesmith)
- Welt (Wastelander)
Good Luck in Farming These Relics!
Prepare yourself for the inevitable frustration of not getting the Relic you’re farming for or getting the wrong stats on them. Still, at least you’ve got some stock of the other set. When you get a character that fits it, you have some prepared for the occasion. Otherwise, an alternative is to have someone else do it for you through some HSR services.
Don’t give up, and keep enjoying the game!
