It’s been a few months that we saw HTC launch their HTC Desire 610 which was a mid-range smartphone. HTC Desire range of smartphones use to be HTC’s top of the line smartphones but that is no longer the case anymore after HTC launched their HTC One line of smartphones but the Desire family still keeps its fame as HTC announces affordable smartphones each year. Looks like HTC is prepping up to launch yet another smartphone that would be the successor to HTC Desire 610 known as HTC Desire 620.
Pictures of HTC Desire 620 has been leaked by a source online and judging from the design of the smartphone HTC Desire 620 looks like a cross over between Desire 816 and Desire 610. The smartphone is also rumored to be equipped with a 5 inch display that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SOC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with micro SD card slot, 8MP camera on the back while a 5MP at the front and to power it all a 2100mAh battery.
The smartphone is also rumored to launch next month in the month of January with a price tag of $320 and will be running Android kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box. There is not a lot of difference between the Desire 610 and the 620 other than the high resolution display and higher megapixels, so we won’t consider it an upgrade but for those who are buying a budget friendly smartphone for the first time, the HTC Desire 620 would be a great choice.
With Samsung and Sony trying to cut their production next year, HTC is trying their level best to come up with smartphones to attract customers and gain a hold of the market like the recently launched HTC Desire Eye.
