Oppo announced Oppo N3 with rotating camera for taking selfies

At an official event that was held in Singapore Oppo announced the successor to its last year’s flagship device known as the Oppo N3 which brings also of new features and a camera that swivels instead of using a front and back camera.

The Oppo N3 is equipped with a 5.5 inch display that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080P, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card expansion slot and to power it all a 3000mAh battery. The smartphone is also equipped with a 16 MP that comes with 1.34 micrometer pixels and will be running Color OS v2.0i on top of Android kitkat 4.4.4.Oppo N3 is slimmer than its predecessor but comes with a smaller screen compared to the 5.9 inch display on the Oppo N1 and with a smaller battery compared to the 3900mAh battery on the Oppo N1.

The camera is the most unique thing about the Oppo N3 as it can swivel and comes with a motorized mechanism that can rotate the camera up to 206 degrees, which means that users won’t have to move the phone to take a panoramic shot they can do it while holding the phone still, the motorized camera will automatically take a panoramic picture for you.

The O-Touch panel on the back is replaced with a finger print sensor on the Oppo N3 that can still work as a touch pad but can now be used to unlock the phone with the help of the finger print sensor, where users can assign different finger prints for different uses. There is also an O-Click remote control that comes with the Oppo N3 that will help users to take pictures, control music and rotate the camera.

Oppo will launch the Oppo N3 at the end of this year with a retail price of $649.
