According to the recent rumors, we do have an idea that the screen size on the next flagship device of HTC codenamed Hima also known as HTC M9 will be 5 inches, but does that also mean that the smartphone will have the same size as the HTC M8 ? Well according to @upleaks HTC M9 will be as large in size as the current HTC M8 is.
According to upleaks, HTC M9 will measure at 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.56 mm while the HTC M8 measures at 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35 mm, so there is barely any noticeable different between the two smartphones in terms of size or screen to body ratio.
@upleaks also said that HTC will equip their next flagship device with a 5 inch screen that will most probably come with a 2k resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SOC, 3GB of Ram, VoLTE and to power it all a 2850mAh battery. HTC is said to have plans to not use their ultrapixel camera this time as the HTC M9 is said to be equipped with a 20.7MP camera while there is a possibility that the front facing camera might be equipped with a 4MP ultrapixel camera. The smartphone will also be running Sense UI 7 on top of Android lollipop 5.0 and is said to be launched in the month of March.
There are still no leaked images of the device, though we would like to see some just to get an idea on how the smartphone might look. It would have also been better if HTC could come up with a higher resolution ultrapixel camera, as even the 4MP ultrapixel on both the HTC M7 and M8 produce some good looking pictures but the only thing that the camera lacks is the detail because of the lower resolution.
