How to Breed the Humbug Monster in My Singing Monsters

You have been playing My Singing Monsters for quite some time now and you feel that you are now more than ready to breed Humbug. You would like to do some research before trying your luck and you came to the right place. In this article, you would be able to find useful information on how to breed Humbug monster.

Breeding Humbug is a bit more difficult compared to other monsters. In fact, it is a bit tricky to do. However, if you have the knowledge of what the right combinations you could use, then, breeding Humbug could be easier.

In breeding Humbug, you would need to have Drumpler and Pango. Ensure that you are treating them good and you are taking care of them well. Ensure that they are fed with treats, they are happy and their habitats are clean.

For you to know when your Drumpler and Pango are ready to breed, you would hear Drumpler and Pango singing duets. When they do, you will have to place them together in a breeding structure. This would ensure that they have some privacy. Wait patiently and you would get Humbug egg in no time. Once the egg has hatched, ensure that you feed your Humbug.

Discovering the Humbug in My Singing Monsters

Humbug is a monster which is easy to breed. However, you would need to be patient just like when breeding other monsters in My Singing Monsters. For you to find Humbug, you would need to go to the Plant Island. Look for Drumpler and Pango. Put them near together in your monster nursery and once you hear a duet song, it means that your monsters are breeding. Go back after a couple of hours and tada! you would find an egg. Place it in an incubator and the egg will hatch after 5 to 6 hours. Once your egg hatches, ensure that you feed your baby Humbug with treats such as jellybeans, tacos or even pizza. This way, it would grow healthy and strong.

Humbug is an adorable fuzzy monster which produces trumpet-like sounds which makes them one of the most favorites of many players. They offer silly little songs and they even have dance moves which would definitely make you smile.

The good news is you could breed as much Humbugs as you want. All you need to do is to repeat the process of pairing Drumpler and Pango.

Breeding Requirements for the Humbug

Another way for you to breed a Humbug in My Singing Monster is by following the steps below.

  • Put together Quarrister and Pango on your island. However, do not place them really close to each other. Only ensure that their songs could overlap.
  • Quarrister has to be at least level 4 and Pango has to be level 3 or higher.
  • Feed and take care of Quarrister and Pango.
  • Once your monsters start to dance and create heart emoticons, your monsters are ready to breed.
  • Place Quarrister and Pango inside your Nursery
  • Once you hear an egg cracking, this means that Humbug is about to hatch.

How to Get the Humbug Eggs and Breeding the Humbug

  • Purchase eggs from StarShop with money or starpower.
  • Eggs could hatch into random monster. Though this is the case, it could increase your chances of getting a Humbug.
  • Complete surveys to earn free eggs.
  • Check free eggs section in the StarShop.
  • Breed monsters which could produce Humbug such as Entbrat, Deedge, PomPom, Oaktopus and Drumpler. Place two monsters in a breeding structure and be patient until they are ready to breed.
  • Participate in promotional events.

Hatching and Breeding the Humbug

  • Move your Humbug to Plant island or cold island or air island
  • Feed your Humbug with treats. This way it would increase happiness of your Humbug and level up. The higher the level of Humbug, the better the chance of producing more coins and the higher chance of breeding.
  • Place two Humbugs in breeding structure on their natural island.
  • Wait for 24 hours for them to produce an egg. Keep in mind that Humbug is a rare monster which means it could take you a few tries before you could produce a Humbug.

Finding a Home

Humbugs could live anywhere on your island. However, there are some spots that would be more suitable for them. We suggest for you to place them near trees, bushes or rocks. This way they could roam around and play. This would help them level up.

Keeping Them Happy

For your Humbugs to level up, you will need to keep them happy. To make them happy, here are some tips.

  • Feed them
  • Play with them and scratch them daily
  • Place multiple Humbugs together. This way they could socialize,
  • Breed placed Humbugs to get a baby Humbug.

Your Humbugs will dance, play, sing and roam around your island. This is why, it is important for you create a great environment for them.

Tips for Breeding the Humbug

Choose Your Monsters

You will need to have the correct monsters for you to breed Humbug. Aside from the combinations provided earlier, another combination you could use is a Fwog and a Drumpler. They could be purchased or bred. Ensure that you have an open space for them to breed Humbug.

Level Up Your Monsters

The higher the level of your breeding monsters, the better your chances of breeding a Humbug. They should be at least level 10 or higher.

Light the Torches

Ask your friend and other players to light your torches before you start breeding.

Choose Your Breeding Structure

Ensure that you use an upgraded breeding structure. The higher the level of your structure the shorter time you would need to breed. We recommend for you to aim at least level 5.

Be Patient

As mentioned earlier, when you play the game, My Singing Monsters, you would need to be patient. If you do not succeed on your first try, do not be discouraged. Try again until you are able to breed successfully Humbug.
