Lenovo Vibe X2 leaked images show metal design
A set of new image leaked online showing Lenovo’s upcoming flagship device the Lenovo Vibe X2 from different angles. The device is the second in line to the Lenovo Vibe X and has been on the rumor radar for quite a while. Earlier rumors suggested that the device will be available in plenty of colors to choose from. This time, there are images that show the device from different perspectives.
The most prominent thing to note in the images is the back of the Lenovo Vibe X2. Its complete metal, even from the side angles it looks like Lenovo went for a full metal work for its next flagship device. It seems like there are three layers of metal used in the making of the device but it is not possible to confirm this fact by just looking at the images (though it could be true).
The three layers of supposed metal are of different colors which add a unique and gradient touch to the color of the smartphone and give it a nice and naughty look when looking from the sides. Apart from the presentation, the device is said to be powered by a MediaTek octa core processor that includes four Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores running at a frequency of 1.5 GHz. There is also a mention of a second variant of the device, codenamed “X2-TO” is said to have a dual core processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
Lenovo Vibe X2 will have a 5 inch 1080 IPS display, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. At the back, there’s a 13MP camera and at the front, a 5MP camera. The device is rumored to come with Android 4.4.2 and will have a 2,250 mAh battery. The sources suggest that Lenovo Vibe X2 will be available in the market from third week of September.
