LG G Flex 2 announced at CES

There were rumors about LG to launch their LG G Flex 2 smartphone at CES and it did. The smartphone comes with all the upgrades required to compete in today’s markets and will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SOC, which makes LG G Flex 2 the first smartphone to be equipped with one.
There were some rendered images of the smartphone leaked on the internet as well judging from which the smartphone looks way better than its predecessor and comes with the same curved display and self-healing back cover. The display on the smartphone is shorter though compared to its predecessor and comes with a 5.5 inch display that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SOC which is an octa core processor, 2GB of DDR4 RAM, 16/32GB of onboard storage with microSD card expansion slot and to power it all a 3000mAh battery. The battery also comes with fast charging where users would be able to charge their LG G Flex 2 smartphone up to 50% in just 40 minutes.
The smartphone is also equipped with a 13MP OIS camera at the back with the same laser focusing technology found on the LG G3 and a 2.1MP camera at the front. Now most of you must be wondering why LG would go with a curved display again, because last time LG’s Flex smartphone didn’t get the desired attention. Well the company wants to market their curved display technology and doing it through a smartphone is a good way of marketing.
There is still no news on the pricing or the availability of the device but the smartphone is rumored to cost around $700 to $800. What do you think about the new LG G Flex 2 is it worth investing so much in a curved display smartphone?
