Motorola to introduce Motorola Droid Turbo
After lots rumors Motorola has finally launched their next flagship smartphone in the Droid family named Motorola Droid Turbo. The smartphone comes with all the latest specs that the market has to offer even better than the one found on the Motorola Moto X 2014 edition.
Motorola Droid Turbo comes with a 5.2 inch display same as the Moto X 2014 but has a bumped up resolution of 1440 x 2560 with a pixel density of 565ppi. The smartphone is also equipped with the latest and greatest processor from Qualcomm known as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 which is clocked at 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of onboard storage and to power it all a 39000mAh battery which should last for 48 hours. With a huge battery Motorola is also offering turbo charging which would give 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charge.
Motorola Droid Turbo is also equipped with a 21MP camera on its back while a 2MP camera at its front and will be running Android kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box, but Motorola said as soon as they launch their version of Android Lollipop 5.0, Motorola Droid Turbo would be one of the first to get it.
In terms of design Motorola Droid Turbo is not better than the Motorola Moto X as there are separate navigation button below the screen which makes it longer than it should be and because of that it’s uncomfortable to hold the phone. Motorola Droid Turbo would be available in three colors including metallic black, metallic red.
Motorola has always produced the best Droid smartphones which are also known for their great battery life, whereas the Motorola Droid Turbo stays the same though it would have been better to launch this kind of smartphone as a non-carrier variant.
