Samsung Galaxy A7 rumored to be announced on January 14
We have been hearing about Samsung Galaxy A7 for quite a while and looks like the company finally have plans to launch their new smartphone soon next year. It is said that Samsung will be announcing their Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone in South Korea along with their already available Samsung Galaxy A5 on January 14.
Samsung launched their Galaxy A series this year where the company tried to try something new with their smartphone and used metal instead of plastic. Samsung Galaxy A7 is the top smartphone in the Galaxy A series line of smartphones, which also comes with the biggest screen at 5.5 inches and measure in at 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm.
Samsung Galaxy A7 will come with a 5.5 inch display that will support a resolution of 1920 x 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SOC which is an octa core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage with microSD card expansion slot, 13MP camera on the back while a 5MP camera at the front and to power it all a 2500mAh battery. The smartphone will be running Android kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box though it is also said that after its launch Samsung is going to send out the updates for lollipop.
We do like the feel of metal on the Samsung Galaxy A series and the smartphones are thinner as well with an exception of a lower battery size, which might not be sufficient to power a 5.5 inch display throughout the day. Samsung made the same mistake with their Galaxy Alpha smartphone and they are the making the same mistake again.
Samsung will also launch their Galaxy A7 smartphone in China as well aside from South Korea though it’s not known if the company have plans to launch the smartphone globally yet.
