SamMobile has spotted a Samsung smartphone that is said to be an affordable smartphone running Samsung Tizen OS. The model number of the Samsung smartphone is Samsung SM-Z130H though there is no official news from Samsung about the smartphone.SamMobile did manage to get their hands on some screen shots of the UI though.
Samsung SM-Z130H will be running Tizen OS 2.3 and judging by looks of the Tizen UI, the OS resembles Samsung TouchWiz a lot and will also come with some of the same features found on Samsung smartphones running Android like Ultra Power Saving Mode, and Private Mode. The OS will also come with some preloaded apps like Facebook, Twitter, and even Google apps.
Samsung SM-Z130H is said to be equipped with a 4.7 inch display that will support a resolution of 480 x 800, Spreadtrum SC7727S dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 3.2 MP camera on the back. Speculations are that Samsung will launch their Samsung SM-Z130H smartphone in India first as a competitor to Android One smartphone that got launched recently in India though there is no detail on what the price would be on the smartphone but if it’s there to compete against Android One then we expect it to be of same price as the Android One smartphones.
We have been hearing about Samsung smartphones running Tizen OS from time to time, which had high ends specs at the beginning but now the specs has lowered down gradually compared to early Samsung smartphones that were said to be running Tizen OS. Maybe Samsung wants to keep it safe and know where the company would stand in the market with their Tizen OS.
What do you think about Tizen OS, would you go for one if Samsung did launch one?
