Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X now $50 off at the Google Store
The Nexus 6P came with a $499 price tag for the base, 32GB model, while the 16GB Nexus 5X came in at the price of $380. We know how it is for some consumers, though: you can always save some extra cash and put it toward a protector case, apps, or other accessories like a new Huawei Watch. So, for you, Google has discounted the price of its Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X by $50 — bringing the Nexus 6P from $499 down to $449 and the Nexus 5X from $380 to $330.
Google has done this before, but it seems as though these prices are permanent for both devices at this point. The Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X are excellent devices for those who want the very best of Google, with Google’s software that comes courtesy of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nexus 6P, engineered by Chinese manufacturer Huawei, has a 5.7-inch, Quad HD display (2,560 x 1,440p) with an octa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 16MP back camera, 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32GB/64GB/128GB of storage. The Nexus 5X, engineered by Korean manufacturer LG, features a 5.2-inch, Full HD display (1920 x 1080p), a hexa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 13MP back camera, 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 16GB/32GB of storage. Both the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X feature Google’s all-new Nexus Imprint that provides fingerprint authentication for these two Nexus devices (a first), and brings native fingerprint authentication to Android (courtesy of Android Marshmallow).
Keep in mind that the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will both receive fast, quick updates from Google, with both devices having already received their January 2016 security patches and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update that brought over 200 new emoji to Android. Included within both smartphone sales is free shipping, which Google is proud to give its customers who have been faithful supporters of the Nexus smartphone lineup.
For those who can never get enough of Android Marshmallow, stay tuned to Aptgadget as we continue to bring more updates on what is, without a doubt, Google’s best smartphone experience yet.
