Samsung Galaxy A7 goes official with 5.5 inch display
Samsung has officially announced Galaxy A7; a mid ranged device with 5.5 inch display inducted into the Galaxy A series which features all metal chassis smartphones. Galaxy A7 first popped up on the internet last year in September and since then; there had been a lot of rumors about the device looks and specs.
Samsung published a blog yazısı on its Samsung Tomorrow blog confirmed the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy A7.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A7, one of the slimmest Galaxy smartphones equipped with premium hardware for a superior social experience, expanding on the popular services provided by the Galaxy A5 and A3.
Galaxy A7 is being classified as a mid ranged smartphone featuring a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with 720p resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD slot for expandable storage. The device has a 13MP camera at the back and 5MP camera at the front. Galaxy A7 also includes the selfie perks like ‘Ultra Wide Shot’ and ‘Auto Selfie’ modes that allow any user to take selfies using voice command or just a wave of hand in front of the camera.
Apart from the above specs, the device comes in different processor configurations
LTE: 1.8GHz Quad-Core and 1.3GHz Quad-Core LTE/3G
Dual SIM: 1.5Hz Quad-Core+ 1.0GHz Quad-Core
Galaxy A7 is powered by a 2600mAh battery which looks good enough for a smartphone with such specs. The phone will be running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with future upgrades to Android Lollipop.
Samsung hasn’t revealed the pricing and availability details yet but it is expected to be launched on South Korea first and then it will make it to other parts of the world.
