Apple’s iPhone 6S production rumors return

We previously heard how supply chain rumors indicated that the iPhone 6S was already in production and the device was already going through internal testing ready for launch, and now further rumors have cemented this.
Primary Apple contract manufacturers Foxconn and Pegatron have begun receiving shipments of components for the iPhone 6S from suppliers and sub-assemblers, according to sources.
The source continues to state that the new iPhone 6S will be released in September and Apple have been pegged to ship 50 million before the end of 2015.
Whilst the evidence has stacked up that the iPhone 6S is already fully in production, what is still relatively unknown is that iPhone 6S specs. However, it is widely expected to have 2GB of RAM, and force-touch as featured on the Apple Watch. The ‘S’ upgrade of the iPhone cycle tends to now veer too far from the previous major release and is instead usually an incremental model. It is very possible that the changes to the iPhone 6S could be limited to the RAM and the addition of force-touch to warrant the ‘S’ designation.
