LG unvweiled two new mid ranged smartphones

LG unveiled two new smartphones today but only on their Brazilian website. Don’t get too excited as both the smartphone are entry level smartphones though we don’t know why LG kept its availability limited to Brazil only.

One of the two entry level smartphones is known as LG G2 Lite which according to its specs even sits lower than the LG G2 mini. The LG G2 lite is equipped with a 4.5 inch IPS display that supports a resolution of 480 x 800 with a pixel density of 207ppi, Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 4GB of onboard storage with microSD expansion slot and to power it all a 1820mAH battery. There is also an 8MP camera on the back while a VGA camera at the front.

The other entry level smartphone is known as LG L Prime which is equipped with a 5 inch display that supports a resolution of 400 x 854 but comes with a pixel density of 196ppi, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with microSD card expansion slot and to power it all a 2460mAh battery. The smartphone is also equipped with an 8MP camera on the back while a 1.3MP camera at the front.

Both the smartphones will be running Android kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box whereas the LG G2 Lite is going to retail for around $245 while the LG L Prime will retail for around $265. MicroSD card slot is available on both the smartphones but upgrading the memory is only limited to 32GB.

Motorola was also one of the manufacturers to announce its smartphone in Brazil known as the Motorola Moto Maxx which is an unlocked version of the famous Motorola Droid Turbo.
