Long awaited Motorola Nexus 6 launched by Google

Nexus 6 is finally here and it’s bigger, better and faster. As expected the smartphone is manufactured by Motorola and carries the same design line found on the recently launched Motorola Moto X 2014. Nexus 6 is almost identical to the Motorola Moto X 2014 smartphone therefore it’s made of the same material as the Moto X 2014 but comes with a repositioned volume and power button which are a bit lower for easy access. The reason why Motorola did that is to make it easier for users to reach these buttons on the humongous 6 inch screen that the Nexus 6 has.
Nexus 6 does come with a 6 inch screen but that’s not it as the 6 inch screen supports a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with a pixel density of 439 ppi. Inside the new Nexus 6 is the latest SOC from Qualcomm the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 which is clocked at 2.7GHz which is the fastest SOC from Qualcomm yet. There is also a 13MP OIS camera on the back and a 2MP camera at the front though there was no word on how much RAM the Nexus 6 has but what’s good to see is that this time around the smartphone comes with a better battery at 3200mAh. There is still no option of a micro SD card slot on the smartphone so users would have the option of selecting a 32GB model or a 64GB model.
There are also two stereo speakers on the front of Nexus 6 making it better for listening music as well as watching movies. Lastly Nexus 6 will come out with running Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box, which is the latest OS from Google. The OS brings a lot of changes but mainly focuses on the material design which looks great in animations and runs fluidly as well.
Nexus 6 is only available for preorder for now but will go sale in November with a price tag of $649. The price tag of the Nexus device is high but users are still getting it way cheaper than smartphones with similar specs.
