The compact size of SanDisk flash drive can allow users to keep the device plugged in permanently to their notebook without ever needing to unplug it to put it in a laptop sleeve or a bag. Think about the Bluetooth mouse connector which connects to a USB port, same is the case with SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0.

According to SanDisk, the new compact flash drive is designed for media enthusiasts who want to have additional storage space on their notebooks, tablets, TV, in-car stereo systems, gaming consoles etc. The SanDisk Ultra Fit is available in different capacities including 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and also a 256GB Ultra USB 3.0 edition priced at $200 which is a bit large and long than the Ultra Fit. The 128GB model is priced at $120 which is not that expensive considering how handy it is.

Both models come with SanDisk’s SecureAccess encryption software. Buyers will also get a free one year RescuePro software subscription. The software is useful to recover files that were lost or deleted accidentally.
