Oster Versa 1,400 Watt Performance Blender Review

Oster’s Versa is a powerful blender that ensures impressive performance and features a lot of additional accessories. In fact, the amount of these extra cups, lids, and knives can be really confusing. However, the model is available at a very good price, especially if you take into account its outstanding functionality.

Versa Key Features

Oster’s Versa is a very ‘ambiguous’ blender model. It has plenty of positive and negative features. Let’s start with a downside.

Versa has way too many accessories. Frankly, you’ll probably have to use it everyday for the entire year to memorize where each part goes. It includes a big 64-ounce jar; two small 20-ounces jars; 5 food processing cups. Each one has a set of its own lids, knives, and shredders. All in all, it is pretty confusing – so make sure not to lose the manual.

Yet, the most frustrating thing about all of these parts is not their amount, but their flimsiness. Plus, putting all of those pieces together is a true physical challenge.

On the other hand, most of these pieces are easy to clean. Only one lid cannot be put into the washing machine. Alternatively, you can always wash the containers by blending hot water with some soap. BPA-free plastic makes it possible.

The best thing about this blender is that it has plenty of useful presents for making smoothies, frozen drinks, salsas, etc. Versa automatically changes between blending speeds according to preset function.

The last but not the least – it is a powerful model, which allows you to blend a wide range ingredients.

Pros

This blender is a very powerful device that can cope with a wide range of tasks. Several preset buttons can significantly facilitate your cooking process. And, of course, the price is very appealing. In fact, many competitor models offer the same functionality at a double cost.

Cons

Some of the parts are very flimsy, and the blender is difficult to assemble. Not only does the amount of accessories confuse you, the assembly actually requires some physical effort.

Verdict

This blender is far from being user-friendly. However, it is really cheap for such an impressive functionality. So, the choice is up to you. If you need a cheap, yet powerful machine that would cause you a lot of pain while cooking – feel free to order Versa. If you are looking for some top-notch user experience, this is not the best option for you.

  1. Your review is for the Oster Versa 1100 not the 1400. No assembly required as there are no accessories. Your title and picture need to be changed.
